Nature AS aN ally

Feel yourself exhale and your body relax as you step outside. Ecotherapy is a collaboration with the healing power of nature. Sessions typically take place outdoors in a natural setting, such as a park or garden and can be done walking or seated.

I am a life-long nature lover and it is my joy and privilege to work with clients outdoors to reconnect with their child-like wonder, openness, curiosity, spontaneity and delight.

What to expect in an outdoor ecotherapy session

Sessions are an organic co-creation between the client, myself and the environment. Sessions can be done walking, standing and/or sitting, and are tailored to the needs of the client and the conditions. Clients may participate in:

  • Grounding practices to connect with their body and the environment

  • Mindfulness activities

  • Reflection exercises

  • Gentle movement

  • Spontaneous and synchronistic discovery in the natural world
